Our Experience: Shooting at Kusum Sarovar, Goverdhan, Mathura
One of the memorable locations associated with our production work is Kusum Sarovar, Goverdhan, Mathura, a beautiful heritage setting known for its historic architecture, tranquil surroundings and cultural significance.
TrueWay Network has provided production services for the television serial Mishri, with shooting work at Kusum Sarovar. Our experience working in heritage and culturally significant locations helps us understand the practical requirements of filming in such environments, including location coordination, local arrangements, production logistics and liaison with the relevant authorities.
From the initial location discussion to on-ground execution, our objective is to help the production team work efficiently while respecting the character and requirements of each location.
Agra: A Cinematic Destination for Filmmakers
Agra is much more than the city of the Taj Mahal. Its Mughal architecture, historic courtyards, heritage streets, traditional markets, riverfront landscapes and surrounding countryside offer diverse visual settings for storytelling.
Our location scouting and recce support can help production teams explore locations such as:
- Agra Fort: Historic architecture, courtyards, gateways and period-film possibilities, subject to applicable filming permissions.
- Taj Mahal surroundings: Iconic views and suitable surrounding locations for establishing shots and visual storytelling, subject to the relevant restrictions and approvals.
- Fatehpur Sikri: Historic architectural settings for period dramas, documentaries and heritage productions, subject to permissions.
- Kusum Sarovar and Goverdhan: Heritage architecture and cultural landscapes.
- Mathura and Vrindavan: Traditional streets, temples’ surrounding areas, cultural settings and festival-related environments, subject to local rules.
- Yamuna riverfront and countryside: Natural landscapes, bridges, riverside views and rural backdrops.
- Heritage havelis, rooftops, cafés and private properties: Potential settings for contemporary dramas, music videos, commercials and web series, subject to owner consent and applicable permissions.
Every production has different creative and technical requirements. We help identify suitable locations based on the script, visual references, shooting dates, budget, crew size and accessibility.

We understand that successful filmmaking requires much more than finding a beautiful location. It requires careful planning, reliable local coordination, experienced personnel and efficient management of the entire shoot.
1. Location Scouting and Recce
We assist directors, producers, production designers and cinematographers in finding locations that match their creative vision.
Our services include location research, physical recce, photographic references, access assessment, parking and unit-base planning, and coordination with location owners or management.
2. Shooting Permissions and Government Liaison
Shooting at heritage monuments, government properties, public spaces and restricted locations may require approvals from several authorities.
Depending on the location and nature of the shoot, we assist with the application process and liaison with relevant bodies, including:
- Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), where applicable
- State film authorities and tourism departments
- District administration and municipal authorities
- Local police and traffic authorities
- Property owners and private venue management
- Other concerned departments, depending on the proposed shoot
We help production teams understand the permission requirements, prepare documentation, coordinate follow-ups and plan around applicable conditions. All permissions remain subject to approval by the competent authorities.
3. Local Crew and Talent Coordination
We help arrange suitable local production personnel according to the project’s requirements, including production assistants, local coordinators, technical crew, art department support, makeup and hair professionals, and regional language assistance where available.
Casting and artist coordination can also be arranged according to the brief and availability.
4. Camera, Lighting and Equipment Rentals
Through our local production network, we coordinate equipment requirements for different budgets and shooting formats.
Depending on availability, this may include cinema camera packages, lenses, monitors, lighting equipment, grip support, generators, sound equipment and other essential production resources.
Local sourcing can help reduce unnecessary transportation and equipment movement between production hubs.
5. Travel, Accommodation and Transportation
We coordinate practical arrangements for cast, crew and production teams, including:
- Hotels and guest accommodation
- Airport, railway station and local transfers
- Cars, SUVs and crew transportation
- Local travel and intercity movement
- Parking, unit-base planning and location access
- Hospitality and scheduling coordination
Our regional network helps production teams manage multi-location schedules across North India.
6. Production Logistics and On-Set Coordination
From pre-production planning to the final pack-up, we provide ground-level assistance with scheduling, vendor coordination, local arrangements, equipment movement, crew deployment and day-to-day production requirements.
Our aim is to minimise avoidable delays, control operational costs and allow the creative team to concentrate on the shoot.
7. Catering and Craft Services
We can coordinate meals, refreshments, drinking water and on-set catering arrangements according to crew strength, location conditions, schedule and budget.
8. Production Fixing for International Filmmakers
For international production companies and documentary teams filming in India, we offer local fixing and coordination support, including bilingual assistance where available, regional research, location planning, travel arrangements, crew coordination and liaison with relevant authorities.
